Refund policy
As part of our commitment to quality and mindful production, all returns must be pre-approved. Gowns sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted. Please contact our team before shipping your return so we can guide you through the process.
- To initiate a return, email us at returns@shopuntethered.com.
- Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
- The gown must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition. Tags must be intact.
- The original order number must be included inside the package.
- Once your gown is received and inspected, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
- Because each gown is produced in limited quantities, we’re unable to offer exchanges. If you’d like a different size or style, simply place a new order once your return has been approved.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused and with tags still attached. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Gowns sent back after the 14-day window or without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Exchanges
We want you to have the gown that feels perfect for you. Since our gowns are made in limited batches, we aren’t able to offer direct exchanges. The simplest way is to return your original order first and then once approved, place a separate order for your new gown.
Refunds
Once your return arrives, our team will inspect it with care and email you to confirm whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your original method of payment will be automatically refunded within 10 days. If over 15 days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us.
